SpazioAste integrates Blockchain technology

Blockchain technology, applied to the SpazioAste.it platform for electronic bidding provided by Astalegale.net, allows for the logs and bidding data recorded during the course of the auction to have legal value.

Why Spazioaste.it is safer

The common platforms for managing online auctions that currently integrate blockchain technology certify the sales activity log only at the end of the auction. In this way, it is not possible, from a legal standpoint, to exclude the possibility that this log can be modified during the sale.

Spazioaste.it's notarization process transmits every single event that occurs during the auction to the blockchain, effectively eliminating the possibility of any modifications to the log, even during different phases of the auction.

Additionally, Spazioaste.it writes the "final report" document on the blockchain, making it traceable and immutable.

These certified data are immediately available to the parties involved and can be used in any context.

What is blockchain

Blockchain is fundamentally a distributed database that anyone can read and write to only by adding data. This technology consists of a chain of blocks, and the content of each block is represented by digital information describing and tracking the transactions made.

Spazioaste.it creates a public and distributed ledger, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), which, through validation processes, allows the addition of additional blocks of data that are immutable, ensuring complete transparency and traceability of all stages of the sale.

The security provided by Spazioaste.it through the implementation of blockchain has been subject to analysis by the Blockchain & Web3 Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano. In its report, the Observatory defined the adopted solution as a significant step forward towards greater transparency and security in transactions conducted within online auction portals.

Spazioaste.it platform is already compliant with Ministerial Decree No. 32 of February 26, 2015, and fully meets the requirements specified by the Ministry for conducting telematic sales in cases outlined by the Code of Civil Procedure.
